Nursery Nuances

So the plan for yesterday was to start painting the temporary nursery. It took us the majority of the day to clean out the room. Then there was dinner...then there was a lot of laying around time...then Dusty began priming the walls. At 9 p.m.

Beer and iPad in hand (so he could lock himself in there with some tunes) he proceeded to put the first coat of primer on, only to learn it's definitely going to take 2 coats. Here's where we left things last night:

Yes, that is the whole room. Good thing babies are small, huh? Too bad they have so much stuff.
I have purchased a super-duper heavy duty mask (thank you to the Gigantor guy at Home Depot for the recommendation!) and am going to be doing a second coat of primer myself today--with the windows open and a fan running. I've had this bun in the oven for over 7 months now--not taking any chances!
I hope to have a finished product to display for you all by tonight--and maybe even a finished crib in there! We purchased a 4-poster iron crib and Dusty is painting it as I write.

So for anyone else in our circumstance that had a baby and moved very shortly thereafter: Do you full-out decorate the temporary nursery or just do the basics and wait till you move to pull out all the decorating stops?
